Celebrate a traditional Scottish Hogmanay in stylish luxury with us at Crossbasket Castle Hotel, Spa & Restaurant. The breathtaking 17th century castle, brand-new hotel and Trocadero’s dining experience is tucked gently away on the outskirts of the bustling city of Glasgow. Overlooking the stunning Four Angels waterfalls on the River Calder.

This year we have crafted a bespoke 3-night experience that will allow you and your loved ones to indulge in the luxury of a five-star festive break and create memories of the perfect Hogmanay celebrations together.

Arrive from 2.30pm on Monday 30th December when the celebrations begin. After checking in to one of our beautifully appointed rooms or suites we invite you to join us for Tea and warm homemade scones - the perfect way to begin your Hogmanay break. Served in one of our opulent public rooms as you relax in the warm glow of the fireplace. In the evening, get ready to pick up the tempo as we turn up the glamour and open the doors to Michel Roux Jr at Trocadero’s where you will enjoy a 3-course meal at a time of your choosing – the iconic party atmosphere here is the perfect location to kick off your first night with us, with live music from the highest quality bands around…your weekend begins here.

On Hogmanay Morning, a full Scottish breakfast awaits you in the dining room, and a light lunch is served to tide you over until the evening.

You are cordially invited to be our guest at a Champagne Reception commencing at 7pm, before making your way through to our magnificent Roosevelt Ballroom for our Hogmanay Gala Ball, where you will enjoy a spectacular five course meal overseen by the son of legendary French chef Albert Roux OBE, KFO, Michel Roux Jr.  Our live band will provide the very best in entertainment & have you on the dancefloor from 10pm to see you through to the Bells and into the wee small hours of 2025. Your celebrations would not be complete without our Midnight fireworks spectacular which will be followed with a late supper of Bacon Rolls.

Start 2025 New Year’s Day with a late Brunch served into the early afternoon and enjoy time with family and new friends to the sounds of our live band. An early continental breakfast will also be served for anyone starting the year off with an early rise. The day is then yours for perhaps a walk on the estate, a visit to the Four Angels Spa, or relax by the fire with a good book.

In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner in Trocadero’s at a time of your choosing, before breakfast the following morning and departure until your next visit.
