Child-friendly museum with hands-on exhibits and packed with items relating to David Livingstone’s explorations in Africa plus 20 acres of parklands and gardens. Closed January – March.

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

Located in the heart of the city, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is one of Scotland’s most prestigious venues and world renowned classical, jazz, pop, rock and folk artists take to its stages for nearly 250 performances each year.

The venue has played host to the likes of BB King, Johnny Cash, Van Morrison, David Byrne, Ray LaMontagne, The Eels and Debbie Harry. Built in 1990 for Glasgow’s reign as European City of Culture, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is situated at the top of Buchanan Street – Glasgow’s main shopping thoroughfare.

Kings Theatre

Kings Theatre Glasgow first opened its doors in 1904 and is one of the most historic and significant theatres in all of Scotland. It was built as the sister theatre for Theatre Royal for Howard Wyndham Ltd. It serves primarily as a receiving house for touring dance, musicals, comedy and acrobatic performances. The theatre is operated by the Ambassador Theatre Group, who are the Global leader in live theatre.

GLASGOW

Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland, is a port city on the River Clyde in Scotland's western Lowlands. It's famed for its Victorian and art nouveau architecture, a rich legacy of the city's 18th–20th-century prosperity due to trade and shipbuilding. Today it's a national cultural hub, home to institutions including the Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet and National Theatre of Scotland, as well as acclaimed museums and a thriving music scene.
