With uninterrupted use of all public spaces and access to the estate, waterfalls and woodlands, this is not just privacy, but exclusivity - the rare luxury of having a 15th-century castle entirely to yourself.
The Ceremony
A marriage ceremony at Crossbasket is a very special experience. We are fortunate to have a range of beautiful spacious rooms to choose from; the gold leafed Ballie Room, the exquisite Stewart Room with its lovely bay window overlooking the beautiful gardens or our newest addition, the James Little Hall.
Invite your wedding planner or chosen florist to design your special day, with the romance of our historical setting as a perfect backdrop, the stage is yours and ready to be set to make all your dreams to come true.
What's included?
Our exclusive use rate is based on overnight accommodation in the nine historic castle rooms, sleeping up to 18 guests on a bed and breakfast basis, as well as all public rooms within the castle.
The special couple has access to the extraordinary Lindsay Tower Suite where you can enjoy multiple rooms spread across four-storeys, all to yourself within our 15th century castle. The perfect place to debrief and reflect on your wedding day.
Our exclusive use offering does not include food, drinks, or our two Private Lodges. However, both the two-bedroom Gate Lodge and three-bedroom East Lodge can be reserved on our best available rates.
A minimum of 100 day guests is required to take the castle on an exclusive use basis. A supplement will apply for exclusive use bookings with fewer than 100 day guests.
