Our wedding was everything we dreamed of – timeless elegance, stunning grounds, exclusive use, and enough space for our 130 guests. Although we originally planned to marry in a church, seeing James Little Hall completely changed our minds. It offered the perfect blend of beauty, warmth and flexibility for a ceremony that felt truly personal.
One of our favourite parts of the venue was the endless photo opportunities, from the river and gardens to the castle’s sweeping staircases. And finishing the night in the four-storey tower bridal suite was unforgettable.
Looking back, we wouldn’t change a thing. Crossbasket Castle gave us the most magical, relaxed, and memorable weekend with our family and friends. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that truly has it all.
What we ate – peach and Serrano ham, Spicy cauliflower soup with pakora, Breast of chicken with mash, sticky toffee pudding (our request, added specially)
Favourite moment – being surrounded by all our guests on the dance floor at the end of the night
The night before – we stayed in the hotel and had dinner and drinks in Trocadero’s
The next morning – we had breakfast in the Castle before heading home
Top tips – stay the night before, Trocadero’s was such a fun atmosphere to get the party started
