Mark and I were married in the bandstand beside the tumbling waters of the Calder in October 2024. It was a glorious afternoon and a wonderful backdrop for our special occasion. We spent the night in the Lindsay Tower suite and dined on glorious food. Can’t imagine a more perfect day.

What we ate – Old favourite fish and chips.
Favourite moment – Seeing my wonderful husband to be as I walked along the path towards the bandstand.
The night before – Had an evening to myself with a cocktail!
The next morning – Enjoyed breakfast in the Lindsay Tower, still in our bathrobes feeling like a queen.
Top tips – We had a small intimate ceremony outdoors in the beautiful grounds. Those considering Crossbasket as their venue should know this is an option especially if you only have a few guests.
