Historic castle rooms
The past, perfected
Each one of our nine individually named and designed rooms has history in abundance, from the names of the Castle’s custodians of old, to carefully curated furnishings and restored architectural features, transporting guests back to a sumptuous bygone era with the luxuries of 5 star modern comforts.
Historic splendour, designed to draw you in time and again to enjoy a different escape with every visit. Allow yourself to be swept up in the grandeur and theatre of it all.
Note, each room offers views of either the garden or the river and has been individually designed to reflect the character of Crossbasket as a country house.
The Hamilton, Neilson and Cabbell rooms are our Castle Cosy Rooms and feature a shower only. The Hamilton and Cabbell Rooms can be configured as twins. While we cannot guarantee a specific room, should you have a preference, we will do our utmost to accommodate your request.
